Padel art meets the next generation at Youth Swedish Championship 2025

Padel art meets the next generation at Youth Swedish Championship 2025

When art meets sport, something special happens. At this year’s Youth Swedish Championship (Ungdoms-SM), held at Bon Padel Arena in Gothenburg, we had the honor of turning a simple idea into a moment that celebrated both design and passion.

How it all started

It began over a casual conversation with Robin Eriksson, owner and arena manager at Bon Padel. Robin mentioned that the 2025 Youth Swedish Championship, organized by the Swedish Padel Federation (SPF), would take place at Bon Padel between September 5–7.

That’s when the spark hit, what if the winners could receive something more lasting than a medal or trophy? Something they could hang on their wall and remember their moment by.

We came up with the idea: each winning pair, in every age and gender category, would receive a padel poster, the boys a male design, the girls a female one. Art that captures the beauty of the game and the joy of victory.

Bringing the idea to life

I immediately began organizing production, printing, framing, and packaging the posters into sturdy tubes ready for the tournament.
The Swedish Padel Federation loved the idea and agreed it would be a fantastic prize for the winners. Together with tournament director Johan Fors, we planned how to hand out the posters efficiently during the ceremony.

During the finals weekend, SPF representatives Mats Harich and Jonas Persson took the stage to present the prizes. Mats kindly mentioned my contribution as a local artist from Gothenburg, highlighting the posters’ origin by Don Valentino Studio.

The moment when the winners received their trophies and their framed padel posters, was the most gratifying part. Seeing their joyful and proud smiles made it all worth it.

Winners 2025:

 • P14: William Johansson / Malte Lindh
 • F14: Alice Andersson / Lola Teikari
 • P16: William Waldenlöv / Eddi Svensson
 • F16: Selma Killman / Elma Misanovic
 • P18: Hugo Henrysson / Oliver Hodos

Each pair walked away with both a trophy and a piece of art, one that captures their love for the sport.

The posters they received were:

 • Padel Vintage Poster – Male Motif
 • Padel Vintage Poster – Female Motif

Shared moments & social buzz

The Swedish Padel Federation shared all the winners on their Instagram Stories, while Bon Padel and I posted our own behind-the-scenes content.
I also created a video compilation capturing the atmosphere, the energy, the cheers, the art. SPF and Bon Padel then reposted it, giving the story an extra boost across the Swedish padel community, reaching more padel fans across the country.

Why this matters

For me, Wall Stories isn’t just about hanging posters, it’s about connecting creativity with the people who live the sport.
These young players are the future of padel, and if my designs can motivate even one of them to keep chasing their dreams, that’s more valuable than any sale.
